Welcome to our Love Page,
where you can read comments from some of our puppy families and meet their precious
ones. Enjoy!
Bo - one of Genny's sons
| Hi Chris- How are
you? Thought you might like to see an updated picture of Bo. He surprises us everyday
with how smart and funny he is. He loves his puppy class and loves to
play fetch. He will do ANYTHING for treats...it truly is hilarious. He knows his
name very well, knows how to 'lay', 'sit' and knows 'down'. Whenever he sees a
kid, he gets so excited. He loves the two little boys that live behind us and
play with them all the time. Hi Chris, How are you? It has been
a long time since I sent pictures of Bo, so I thought I would pass a few along
of our 'not so little' guy. As always, he is so much fun! Everyone who meets him
loves him and he knows no strangers. He is so loving....loves to lick and kiss
everyone. He is also SO smart! It really is scary. There is another yellow lab
in our neighborhood, and they play together all the time. All I have to say is
'let's go see Bailey' and he perks up and runs to the door! He LOVES to play frisbee
in the yard and loves to retrieve anything that we will throw. When he looks I
me, I can't resist but smile...he is SO cute! I can't even picture my life before
Bo came along...thank you for breeding such an AWESOME dog! We are even tempted
to get another one! =) Well, let me know how things are with you guys...Bo's
mom and his siblings? Keep in touch...and enjoy the pictures! Warmest
Regards, Heidi

Gracie with Jennifer :-)
This is Gracie, a daughter of Sam & Lila
| Chris- I was looking at your webpage and the beautiful
new puppies when I realized that I have not sent you any new pictures
for awhile. Gracie is doing great. She moved in with me in my new townhouse
and adjusted well. There is a huge dog park not too far away that we visit
almost every day. My parents also have "shared custody" and she
is with them almost every weekend. Neither of us want to be away from her
for too long! She is in good health, I just can't believe that they are
going to be 1 1/2 years old soon! She still seems like such a puppy. I hope
you enjoy the pictures and your family is well. Take care. Jennifer Malinoski
PS- the thing in her mouth in one of the pictures is a frozen deer leg
she found in the woods! I think she thought it was a stick. :) Hello!
I have been meaning to send you some new pictures and an update, but you know
how time flies- I can't believe my baby is already 2 years old! Gracie
is doing just fine. She spends the week with me and my parents pick her up
almost every weekend and take her to our cabin in Wisconsin so she has plenty
of water and woods time. We joke that we have "shared custody"
of her. You can see from the pictures that is a good "watch" dog-
she will sit forever and stare out the window- keeping an eye on her territory.
She also has an extensive stick collection that seemed to end up in my
living room one day! My parents were doing some thinking and they would
like to get a chocolate themselves sometime around Summer 2005. My mom is
retiring and they would finally have enough time to give a dog the attention
it needs and deserves! They would like to get one from Gracie's parents so
I was wondering if you were planning on having a litter around or after Summer
2005. Just wondering. Hope everything is well with you and your family. Talk
to you soon. Jennifer jmal128@yahoo.com |
Lovely Lucy, a Genny Daughter, enjoying being spoiled :-)
Lucy Pumpkin :-) Hope she got some treats for this trick!! | Hi
Chris. Thought you might enjoy some pictures of Lucy. She is the best puppy
and we love having her as part of our family. She's become our surrogate child.
We rarely leave home without her and when we do, she is playing at doggie day
care, which she loves. Lucy loves other dogs and seems to be particularly
attracted to other labs. She has no fear of large dogs and always seems to be
frolicking with other dogs. She is terrific with people too including babies and
small children. She makes us laugh everyday with her little puppy ways. She is
such a joy. We couldn't be happier with our decision. She had her rabies
shots and fourth round of vaccinations last Friday. Apparently there was a lepto
strain in our area last year, so our vet advised us to be careful. She's 28.8
pounds and growing quickly. Hope your new litter of puppies are equally
as wonderful as the yellow babies. Enjoy. Amy, Steve & Lucy
Happy Halloween from Lucy K. in Chicago!
We just adore her...

Sam, a Genny son who lives and hunts in Minnesota
| Chris, Some photos of Sam. He is doing really
good. He is learning fast and growing even faster. At his check-up in February
he was 25 lbs!! He must be well over 30 now. Hope all is well,
George Chris, Attached are some pictures from
Sam's summer vacation. We have a cabin in Ontario where Sam spent more time
in the water than he did on land for 2 weeks in August. I will try to get
a good profile shot to you soon. He is approximatly 95 lbs now. I assume he's
got a little more growing to do. We would like to stud him when he is old
enough. What's steps do we need to take to get the ball rolling? He is eager
to learn and picks things up quickly. The trainer I work with has been very
impressed with Sam and has expressed interest in potential breeding.
Hope
all is well. George |
This is Emma (a Genny daughter), our star red head with Adam who adores her...
Where's
Adam, I can smell him, but can't find him :-)
Emma with her new best buddy Aiden!
| Hi Chris, As you
can see from the pictures, I've got Emma doing some programming for me. Pretty
good for 8 weeks! However, we let her get her rest as well. I thought you'd
like these. Adam Hi Chris, I couldn't resist sending more
pictures. As you can see, she's not fitting in very well around here(ha!).
Hope things are well with you. Adam Hi Chris, It's been too
long since I sent you some Emma pics. She's doing great. We're about 7 weeks
into training and she's holding her own. Hope things are well with you. Adam

This is Molly, a GennyXSam Daughter - what a sweetie, she's not a devil, honest
:-) | Hi Chris-- Here is a picture of our little Molly
getting ready for Halloween. We thought that the devil costume fits her well.
She is in great shape, she just got her yearly physical and she weighs 71
lbs. and is so strong and solid. We love her so much and are so glad that we got
her!!!! Take care,, The Skwarski's |
Here is Daisy, a SamX Genny daughter
| Scott - I can't find your old letters, though I kept
them somewhere, write me again guy! Chris Amy Gouty amypinkpigs@yahoo.com |
This is CJ, who hunts and warms Mike's heart in Central Illinois
| I
can't find Mike's email, but he wrote to tell me how proud he was of CJ, on her
first season out, her first day, she retrieved nine for nine ducks, and he didn't
even have to get out of the blind! Kudos and highest praise go to Mike for all
his hard work training CJ, she had the instinct, but he is the one who made it
all come together for her! |
Ty, a Genny son who lives in Central Illinois, where he is the apple of his Dad's
eye.
| My
experience has been very good. I couldn't be happier with my Lab (Ty) who
is now almost 1-1/2. We live within 10 miles of Cricket Hollow Farm so it
was easy for us to go out and look at the facility, her Labs, the litters
and how Chris handled her dogs. Ty rides great in the car. He goes nuts whenever
you mention his Frisbee. He will retrieve whatever you throw, for as long
as someone wants to throw for him. He gets excited to play with other dogs.
He loves to just hang out, whether I'm tinkering in the garage, watching TV
or doing something in the yard. He just wants to be close to us whatever we
are doing. We did hunt some for his first season and I was real happy with
his preformance. I wanted a dog for a companion first and if he hunted well
that would be a bonus. I am very satisfied with him. If you have
any other questions don't hesitate to email, Mark Matchett Galva, Illinois

This is Ranger, happily loving his family and hunting in Northern Illinois.
| Hi Chris, Ranger is doing great. He is the best dog we
have ever had, extremely intelligent and great manners in the house. You deserve
the credit with the breeding and the socialization you do when the pups are born.
I cant say enough about your program, thank you. Back to Ranger,
his first pheasant hunting season went great. Every time we went out, I could
tell that he was learning something new. Several times we went out with other
dogs and he was better behaved than 3 or 4 year old dogs that had been through
professional training. He has great drive for finding and retrieving birds and
he does it with a very soft mouth. This summer we are going to work on water training
and I hope to take him duck and goose hunting this fall. Ranger is a pleasure
to have in the house, although my wife thinks he shouldnt go on the couch.
He only does it when Im there and he is my buddy so I let him when shes
not looking. The kids adore him and he adores them. Again thanks for a great addition
to our family. I attached some photos so you can see how hes doing. Dan
dborowski@southholland.org HI CHRIS, ITS HARD TO BELIEVE RANGER
IS 3 YEARS OLD ALREADY. HES DOING GREAT, ANOTHER HUNTING SEASON ALMOST OVER.
HE STILL GETS BETTER EVERY TIME WE GO OUT. WHEN WE ARE DUCK HUNTING, HE JUST GOES
TO SLEEP IN THE BLIND AND SITS UP WHEN THE GUNS GO OFF WAITING FOR ME TO SEND
HIM. HE LOVES THE MUD AND WATER. WHEN WE ARE PHEASANT HUNTING, HE STAYS CLOSE
AND MOVES AT A STEADY PACE UNTIL HE CATCHES SCENT THEN KICKS INTO HIGH GEAR. HE
EVEN POINTED 4 BIRDS THIS YEAR. I DIDNT TRY TO TRAIN HIM FOR IT, HE JUST
DECIDED TO DO IT. ALL 4 TIMES THE BIRD WAS LESS THAN 5 FEET FROM HIM TRYING TO
HIDE, BUT HE KNEW WHERE THEY WERE. HES GREAT WITH THE FAMILY TOO, IVE NEVER
HAD SUCH A GOOD DOG. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT JOB YOU DID. DAN

| This is Sadie (RavenXMaize), with her loving labrauntie
Mesabi. Sadie lives with Hillary in Wisconsin. She is in training to become a
therapy dog in a hospice program. Hi Chris, Crew and Family, I don't
think (in all our back-and-forth e-mailing), that I have told you how much
I love Sadie. She stays home in the afternoon while I get paperwork done at
the office and I have to confess that I really miss her during those few hours
- otherwise, we are almost never separated. She is truly a great dog and has
already brought so much joy to our lives. Sadie will be a wonderful Hospice
dog. While she is frequently rowdy and mouthy at this time in her young life
- we are beginning to get glimpses of what she will be like as she matures
into adulthood. She already exhibits a gentleness towards my Hospice patients
that she reserves only for them! I am so proud of her. Thanks for raising
such great dogs. I'm looking forward to a future expansion of our family and
our Hospice therapy dog program. Hillary hjhunt4@wekz.net |

Sweet Syndey (GennyxMaize), loving life in Milan, IL where she has BOTH her
people wrapped firmly around her little paw Hi Chris!! Thought I'd drop
you a line to let you know how happy we are with our little Sydney. She is
so smart, sometimes too smart for her own good, but very smart!! She loves
clicker training and is the teacher's pet. Her trainer wants us to train her
to become a therapy dog. She is such a sweet girl, and is loved by everyone.
You all have done such a wonderful job with her, she truly is a very special
girl. Thank you so much for allowing us to be apart of your "extended"
family. She truly is a blessing, and has added so much joy to our lives in
such a short time. Thank you again. Tina and Dave Thomas tina@rilube.com
