Teach your puppy his name

Sit in a smallish room, everybody in as big a circle as you can. Everybody should have some really yummy treats, either cheese in a can or small pieces of string cheese work well. Each person calls the puppy by his name, when he comes, he gets a piece of yummy treat. Then the person across the room calls him, when he goes there, he gets another piece of treat. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Do this a couple times per day the first few days and he'll know is name and be on the way to being conditioned to coming to you when he is called.
